  • NordicQuality is a closed community. You must have an invitation link to register. If you cannot get an invitation you may fill out the following application for membership.

How did you hear about us? Tell us a bit about your experience with private trackers. If inexperienced, tell us why you want in and what trackers (if any) you have used before.

General Rules

  • Instructions from Admins or Moderators must always be followed.
  • Selling anything—services, products, etc.—directly or indirectly, is strictly forbidden.
  • Cheating (e.g., altering your stats in any way or misleading the tracker) will result in a ban.
  • You are only allowed to have one account. Creating multiple accounts will result in a ban on all of them.
  • Abusing any of our report systems will result in a warning or ban.

Download Rules

  • If your ratio drops below 0.4, your download rights will be disabled.
  • You are required to seed all torrents to a 1:1 ratio, or for at least 72 hours, before removing them from your client.
  • However, you are not responsible for a torrent until you have downloaded at least 20% of it.
  • Download rules apply to all torrents, including Freeleech and Featured torrents.
  • After being disconnected from a torrent for 24 hours, you will receive a pre-warning.
  • After being disconnected from a torrent for 7 days, you will receive a warning.
  • If you accumulate 3 active warnings, your download rights will be disabled.
  • Warnings expire after 8 weeks.
  • Repeated failure to comply with these rules may result in a site ban.

Comment Rules

  • Always show respect to the uploader.
  • If you don't like a release, don't leave negative comments—just find something else to download.
  • Do not post "Seed!" comments. Use the "Request Reseed" button instead.
  • Do not post "FIRST" comments.
  • NO requests are allowed in the comments under any circumstances. Use the Request page if you are looking for something.

Request Rules

  • Requests for unreleased content will be deleted.
  • All requests must include valid IDs from appropriate sites, depending on the category:
  • TMDB — required for Movies and TV Shows
  • TVDB — also required for TV Shows, if available
  • IMDb — also required for Movies, if available
  • If no valid ID can be found, you must provide a detailed description of the material you're requesting.
  • Requests without an ID or a proper description will be deleted without notice or refund of BON.

Forum Rules

  • Aggressive behavior, foul language (even mis-typed or disguised), racism, religious or political discussions, and slurs are strictly prohibited.
  • Make sure to post your questions in the correct forum section.
  • Always search the forums before posting a question to avoid duplicates.
  • Do not post serial codes or links to cracks, porn, other trackers, or any abusive content.
  • For your own privacy, do not post personal contact details, such as your email address or home address.
  • NO requests are allowed in the forums under any circumstances. Use the Request page if you are looking for something.

Invite Rules

  • Do not invite yourself. Each user is allowed only one account.
  • Invites should only be given to people you know and trust. Do not invite random users.
  • If you invite a user who cheats, you will receive a warning and lose your invite privileges.
  • Selling NordicQ invites is strictly forbidden and will lead to a ban.

Rules for User Uploads

  • All uploads must be approved by a moderator (normally done within 1 hour, but allow 12 hours to pass before contacting staff).
  • Torrents that do not meet the requirements will be declined.
  • Upload rights will be removed if torrents are repeatedly uploaded with errors.
  • All uploads must use their original release name. NO RETAGS!
  • Do not upload scene releases in rar files — except for Games.
  • The original NFO must always be used if available.
  • Uploads can be tagged with "-NordicQ" and the NordicQ NFO can be used, but we urge you to be creative and make one yourself.
  • The NFO must at least contain the name of the torrent, year (film/series), bitrate (audio and video), resolution, language, audio codec, subtitles, IMDb/TMDB/TVDB link and source.
  • Uploads in Movies or TV categories that have neither English nor Nordic spoken languages need to contain at least one Nordic subtitle!
  • All subtitles must be muxed into the video file.
  • NO characters apart from a–z, 0–9, period (.), dash (-), underscore (_) and parentheses in either the torrent name or file names.
  • NO movie packs/collections or multiple season packs are allowed. ONE season, episode or movie per torrent — upload them separately for proper indexing.
  • No machine-translated subtitles! (e.g. Google Translate and AI).
  • Dupes are not allowed. The definition of a dupe can sometimes be defined subjectively by staff, but usually it is the same quality/encoding/type/language/size.
  • Upscaling is not allowed.
  • Uploads with viruses or similar will be deleted immediately and upload rights will be removed. A distinction is made as to whether it is cracks etc., as they are most often flagged as viruses.
  • If your upload is rejected, you will receive a private message with the reason. Read the message you have received, correct any errors in your upload, and try again. Don't pretend nothing happened and upload the same thing again — this will result in immediate loss of upload rights.

Special Rules for the XXX Category

  • To prevent our tracker from being flooded with random porn releases (there are plenty of porn trackers out there), this category is restricted to Nordic content only.
  • This could be things like OnlyFans site rips and similar material.

Torrent Naming Rules

The torrent name for a movie must contain: Name.year.subtitle.quality.rip-type.audio-codec.video-codec-tag. Video and audio codecs can be swapped.

Special Rules for Subtitles

  • All "text" (.srt) subtitles must be saved in UTF-8 format. (UTF-8 has better support for characters and symbols.) This maximizes compatibility with the widest possible range of players.
  • Subtitles must be saved in the same folder as the release and not in a separate folder!
  • Subtitles must be stored according to the ISO 639-1 standard (Danish = da, Swedish = sv, Norwegian = no, Finnish = fi, Icelandic = is).
  • Subtitles that only contain a foreign language that differs from the primary should be named as language.forced.srt and flagged as forced when muxing them in.
  • Subtitles must be muxed into the video file.
